Sue is so much more than a photographer. For us, she became a dear friend, a guiding source of inspiration, and a big part of the reason that our wedding was as beautiful, meaningful, and unique as it was. From day one, Sue took the time to get to know us, to really understand what we wanted out of a wedding, and what it would take to make the day truly magical. Through each email, message, and video interaction, she just seemed to seamlessly understand what we wanted and she took it straight to heart. She found the perfect location, understood when to be there to get the most beautiful light, and walked us through every detail with ease and encouragement. On the day itself, Sue was filled with light and love, and shared in our excitement so authentically and energetically, while somehow simultaneously making us feel like it was just the two of us.

What Sue captured with her camera was more than an image or a moment, but rather a piece of life filled with story and emotion. Every photo she took of us captured not just the beauty of the place, but the deep love that we felt for each other. We have never felt so seen, understood, or perfectly represented, as we do in Sue’s photos. She has a true gift, and truly is herself a gift to anyone who gets the chance to work with her.

In truth, there are not enough words to express how grateful we are for having met Sue, and for how special she made our wedding.
